- I cheered in 1973 and 1974 for the Dallas Cowboys at a time when professional dancing cheerleaders were a new venture! You can catch up on alumni for the DCC on the cheerleader website/history/where are they now section and of course you can see all the current squad as well! Please check out our Facebook Group: NFL Professional Cheerleaders 1970s Alumni Association. We would love to network and share memories of being an NFL cheerleader in the 70s!
