- Grew up in San Diego, became a pro cheerleader for San Diego Chargers in 1970, the year I graduated from high school, became director & choreographer for the last 3 of my 9 years of cheerleading until the Chargettes were disbanded because of a Playboy magazine scandal. Unfortunately, the ones who did the right things were let go too.

- Yay, glad you signed up...it's sad that I can't find any photos of that time except for the one I have in the 1969 season in my own collection. Almost like we didn't exist. Do you have any photos? Let's post what we have ok? Do you have contact with any of the girls? Get them to sign up, I will start a group for us. IF we don't do this it will all be lost...I think it's funny that I saw an article which said that in 1990 they were officially named Charger Girls. hmmmmm...we were unofficial...? We need to do this...huh?
